Dr. Michael Whang brings nearly two decades of advanced clinical and academic experience to Angha Perio. As a board-certified periodontist, respected educator, and published contributor in leading textbooks, Dr. Whang is known for his surgical precision, gentle communication style, and passion for the art and science of periodontics. He joins Dr. Sarvenaz Angha as both a colleague and longtime peer, sharing a commitment to wellness-centered, relationship-based care—delivered with the calm, personalized attention that defines the Angha Perio experience.
Clinical Focus
Dr. Whang’s expertise includes:
- Periodontal surgical therapy for gum disease and bone loss
- Dental implant surgery, including sinus augmentation and ridge preservation
- Esthetic periodontal procedures, including soft tissue grafting and gummy smile treatment
- Surgically facilitated orthodontics (SFOT) for adult patients
- Collaborative treatment planning with general dentists and specialists
